In 2021, 142 applications from 49 organisations and 7 individuals across New Zealand received a consumer leadership development grant (CLDG), workforce development grant (WDG) or a training grant (TG) from Te Pou. Funds were granted to a total of 3,803 participants. Twenty-six of these applications were for Individualised Funding (IF) from TG with 28 participants.

The round for the CLDG and WDG grants were held in March and October.
