Tupuranga: a place to grow is a framework for consumer, peer support and lived experience (CPSLE) reflective practice.

This two-page summary shows the three fundamental, interconnected domains that make up the framework. They describe what is unique about mātau ā-wheako CPSLE work. These are Experiential knowledge, Relational focus, and Attention to power.

The second page shows the five themes that come from the overlap of the three domains:

  • Self-disclosure
  • Boundaries and dual relationships
  • Safety and wellbeing
  • Challenging and supporting worldviews
  • Co-creating new and shared understandings.

Each theme highlights a key aspect of CPSLE work.

The term "reflective practice" is used in place of "supervision" to greater reflect mutuality in CPSLE relationships.
