  • a hardcopy of the Youth MHFA teaching manual
  • access to the Youth MHFA instructors resource hub on Moodle with downloadable teaching materials
  • two mentoring sessions with a MHFA Trainer to support the delivery of your first workshop.

What should I expect at the training course?

Day 1 and Day 2 (Monday and Tuesday: 8:30am to 4pm)

Upskilling instructors will participate in the Youth MHFA Aotearoa workshop. This allows participants the opportunity to experience the workshop content, how to teach activities, how to engage and monitor a room, and maintain safety.

Day 3 (Wednesday: 8:30am to 3pm)

Facilitation skills and workshop content will be reviewed, focusing on the differences between the Youth and Standard programmes.
