Understanding health related legislation

There are several pieces of legislation in Aotearoa/NZ that impact on people accessing health services and influencing the care and treatment provided by these services. Much of this legislation protects the rights of those accessing the services while some of it gives power to the state to remove certain rights in particular circumstances.

This one-day tailored and interactive workshop will provide you with the knowledge and understanding to ensure you are managing your role within the boundaries of this legislation in order to protect the rights of those individuals affected.

These highly experienced trainers bring both a clinical and consumer focus to this training in order to make it real and practical to your workplace situations.
