I am the Programme Coordinator for the Integrated primary mental health and addiction team supporting the delivery and development of Health Coach and Health Improvement Practitioner training.
I worked in finance for six years and had recently completed by Bachelor of Business Studies (Marketing and Management) when I decided to live my dream by moving to the UK. During my time in London I worked for the Royal College of Physicians coordinating medical exams across the UK and overseas, before moving roles to support the delivery of accreditation programmes in the endoscopy workforce. Working in the healthcare sector and contributing to ensuring better outcomes for those accessing services made me realise how much I love to work in roles with a meaningful purpose.
Mental health is an issue that is especially close to my heart, and I am really excited to have the opportunity to contribute towards creating a more equitable and accessible mental health system in Aotearoa.
