Did you know that champions are twice as likely to influence practice change?
Join us for this one-day in person workshop for kaimahi with an interest in Keeping it Real | Kia Pono te Tika and how to use it effectively in organisations.
Following this workshop, you will:
- be clear about the strengths of Keeping it Real | Kia Pono te Tika and how to use the framework in your mahi
- understand More Skills for Working with Older People in Mental Health and Addiction Services and how to apply these within teams
- know the role of champions and the skills you can use to bring about practice change.
The workshop will equip you to:
- use the seven Real Skills to promote more responsiveness to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and our diverse communities
- use tools to support kaimahi and enhance organisational culture and systems such as recruitment and workforce planning
- be ready to use the Real Skills Assessment tool to reflect on individual and team strengths to inform learning and development within your services
- plan how to embed this mahi into your services using evidence-based implementation approaches.
