We are pleased to announce that Te Pou, in partnership with Wild Bamboo, has been awarded the contract to lead the National Mental Health and Addictions Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Programme from 1 April 2020.
Te Pou will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Programme, while Wild Bamboo will provide the KPI website and IT infrastructure. Both entities are looking forward to leading this next chapter for the Programme to support the achievement of better wellbeing outcomes for people across New Zealand.
What is the National KPI Programme?
The KPI Programme is a mental health and addiction sector owned and led initiative, designed to support quality and improvement across the sector through collaboration, improvement and learning.
Currently, the Programme provides opportunities for Adult, and Child and Youth mental health and addiction services from New Zealand’s DHBs and their nominated non-government organisation (NGO) partners to benchmark themselves against their peers.
The Programme is governed by the mental health and addiction KPI Programme Sponsor group. The sponsors currently include senior DHB, NGO and tāngata whaiora representatives at both a clinical and managerial level.

Will the June forums take place?
It is very difficult to predict how June will look. At this time, we ask KPI Programme participants to keep the June forum dates in their calendars. We are working on ways to create high-value alternatives to holding the forums in person and will provide further information as it becomes available.
