In August 2024, Alf Daniels started as Project Lead for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Aotearoa at Te Pou, and is based in our Kirikiriroa Hamilton office.
Alf leads the delivery and growth of the MHFA Aotearoa programme and his work includes overseeing new adaptations and programme updates, as well as developing and maintaining robust quality frameworks.
Alf has a strong background in leadership and training, nationally and internationally. He previously worked as a training advisor at BCITO-Te Pūkenga, supporting apprentices in the building and construction industry. He also worked at Waikato Rugby Union as a coach development manager and academy manager, and at New Zealand Police.
As an accredited MHFA instructor, Alf knows firsthand the impact our workshops can have; he loves seeing the positive feedback from workshop participants.
Alf is married to Wini, and they have four tamariki and eight mokopuna.
