Sarah has been a registered occupational therapist for over 30 years and has worked in various fields of mental health and addiction. She was previously a lecturer at Otago Polytechnic’s school of occupational therapy and currently works for WellSouth Primary Health Network. She became a HIP in 2020 and has thrived in the primary care service where she has the ability to be creative and responsive to the clinic’s population needs. Being part of a new way of offering health care across the country is exciting, and training new HIPs is a very rewarding aspect of her role.
