Cognitive connection workshops: Screening in addiction services 15 May

This workshop will build confidence in cognitive impairment screening by supporting a better understanding of the cognitive impairment process specific to addictions practice, including:

  • the cognitive screening and support pathway 
  • the therapeutic relationship and screening
  • recognising indicators of cognitive impairment during a comprehensive assessment
  • the screening process
  • an introduction to the different screening tools (workshops do not provide training in any single screening tool.)
  • sharing results back to tangata whai ora and whanau
