About the training

Fullpower Healthy Relationships is a programme developed with and for teens and adults with intellectual disabilities. It provides practical tools to build resiliency and to prevent bullying, violence and abuse. The programme and resource kit was developed in close collaboration with users with disabilities. It utilises the extensive expertise and skills of Irene van der Zande, the founder of Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower International, an organisation that served millions of people worldwide since 1989. The programme covers: Healthy Relationships:

Understanding Your Right to Good Support Training can be done face-to-face or online and utilises the Fullpower Healthy Relationship resources which can be viewed through our website (https://empowermenttrust.nz/fullpower-healthy-relationships/). Training can be tailored to suit individual or group and can be for supporters and/or caregivers of the disabled person(s).
