My Jobs

Kia Ora,

Come join the team at Apex Care, a leader in providing support workers primarily to the mental health and disability health sectors. We are looking for kaimahi/support workers with a commitment to community and cultural awareness who are passionate about providing support with commitment, compassion, and care.

We are an established industry accredited company who provide professional experienced kaimahi to care for tangata whaiora/those in need - from tamariki/children, taiohi/youth to pakeke/adults. This is within the mental health, disability both mental and physical, and perinatal primarily. Through your amazing skills, you can make a positive difference to the quality of life and well-being they experience.

We have a partnership with those involved around our tangata whaiora to ensure we are part of the wrap of care and that we reach the right balance for them. We always aim to set the bar high - we do this by following best practice and applying evidence-based and/or holistic/wellness practices like Te Whare Tapa Whā and Te Wheke.

We are looking for qualified kaimahi who have a passion for what they do, know how to provide a supportive environment whilst keeping to the appropriate boundaries.

What we offer:

  • Competitive rates - especially for those that have completed their National Certificate Core Competencies (L4)
  • A team who are there for you – it’s not just about the mahi, but also about being there to support you
  • On-going training programme - if you are in the process of upskilling, we can help you with that to get you to where you want to go
