He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role
Join a passionate team delivering a Youth Residential Respite Service for rangatahi experiencing mental health distress in Hawke's Bay.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist youth service that provides more than short-term respite. We're building a therapeutic, strengths-based day programme that supports young people to navigate periods of distress, strengthen resilience, and remain connected to their whānau, community, education, and support networks.
As a Registered Health Professional, you'll provide clinical expertise supporting rangatahi through recovery planning, risk management, programme facilitation and goal-focused support. You'll work closely with external health providers to deliver safe, strengths-based, and culturally responsive care. You'll also contribute to clinical documentation, support planning, and coaching team members to build capability across the service.
We're looking for a fully registered Health Professional, including allied health professionals, who bring experience working with young people, mental health intervention, and programme facilitation. You'll be confident supporting rangatahi with complex needs, building therapeutic relationships, and helping create positive outcomes through a holistic recovery focussed model of care.
