Addiction Leadership Day evaluation report Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington 2025

The Addiction Leadership Days are held annually in three locations: Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, and Ōtautahi Christchurch. These events are organised by the National Committee of Addiction Treatment (NCAT) and supported by Te Pou. They serve as a crucial platform for sector leaders and decision-makers to gather, strengthen professional networks, share updates and research, and enhance leadership development within the addiction workforce.

This report, prepared by Te Pou, presents the key evaluation findings from Addiction Leadership Day Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington 2025. The evaluation is based on post-event survey responses and aims to inform and guide the planning of future Addiction Leadership Day events.

The Te Whanganui-a-Tara Addiction Leadership Day saw a total of 130 registrations, with 115 attendees at the event. The day featured an opening address by the Hon. Matt Doocey, the Minister for Mental Health, updates from Te Whatu Ora, and various presentations on current initiatives, successes and updates from organisations within the sector.
