Addiction Leadership Day Ōtautahi Christchurch evaluation report 2025

Addiction Leadership Days are held annually in three locations: Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, and Ōtautahi Christchurch. These events are organised by the National Committee of Addiction Treatment (NCAT) and supported by Te Pou. They serve as a crucial platform for sector leaders and decision-makers to gather, strengthen professional networks, share updates and research, and enhance leadership development within the addiction workforce.

This report, prepared by Te Pou, summarises feedback from the Ōtautahi | Christchurch Addiction Leadership Day held on 20 November 2025 with the theme “Huihui tātou ka tū, wehewehe tātou ka hinga - United we stand, divided we fall” at Ngaio Marsh Theatre.

The Ōtautahi | Christchurch Addiction Leadership Day was attended by 91 participants, of whom 39 completed the post-event survey resulting in a 43 percent response rate.
