Integrated primary mental health and addiction workforce: Trainee profile to 31 December 2024

This report provides a summary of information provided by people registered for health coach and health improvement practitioner training between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2024. It summarises information from 498 health coach trainees and 588 HIP trainees, and highlights differences with recent trainees who began training between June and December 2024.

The information reported includes:

• socio-demographic information (age, gender, ethnicity)
• employment information including employer and locality
• professional background including relevant qualifications, registrations, and work history.
