Let’s get real - Engagement findings 2024

Let’s get real is a framework that describes the values, attitudes, knowledge and skills required for working effectively with people and whānau experiencing mental health and addiction issues. All health care services, regardless of context, organisation, roles, or professions can use Let’s get real to guide workforce learning and development.

Let’s get real was developed by Ministry of Health Manatū Hauora in 2008 and refreshed by Te Pou following sector engagement in 2018. The framework is due for an update, so insights from the health sector are needed to ensure it is contemporary and relevant.
