We are family

Problematic use of alcohol and other drugs (AOD) affects people across all walks of life and at all stages of life. Being affected by someone else’s problematic use of AOD can be challenging, shameful and lonely. Silence divides us and diminishes our strength. These are stories of courage and hope, people sharing their journey with us and providing an antidote to the shame and stigma that keeps people isolated. We are connected through story. We see ourselves on the page and know we are not alone. There is hope. Gratitude and respect for the people who so generously shared their stories with us.
