This training will:
We begin with recognising what culture is and how each of us can identify the important aspects of our own culture.
We will consider some of the key areas where perceptions might be different between individuals and learn about tolerance, respect and understanding in regard to this.
Recognising why this is such an important aspect of our work not only with clients but also with each other. We will consider biculturalism in regard to safe relationships with others.
Individual action plans will be developed where you will identify the learning that has occurred for you and how you plan to put your new knowledge into practice on the job.
