Establishing a community of practice for the CPSLE workforce: A guide

Communities of practice are described as a group of people with a common interest, coming together to learn and solve problems in a specific subject area, with a desire to improve their knowledge and skills, as a result of what they share in common.

Members of the mātau ā-wheako consumer, peer support and lived experience (CPSLE) workforce may be familiar with the principles of communities of practice, as a space to connect, either formally or informally, to share challenges and learnings that they come across in their work. This resource is offered as a guide as each group will be different and determined by the members of the community.
