Kaumatua older people posters

This set of five posters is designed to support meaningful conversations among people who support older people experiencing mental health challenges and/or addiction.

Each poster carries a message drawn from research with older adults, reflecting how they wish to be treated when receiving support.

There is also a set of five discussion cards.

How to use this resource

The posters can be displayed wherever you feel they will have the most impact – perhaps in a staff room or in a public space where older tāngata whai ora and their whānau may see them.
